Daily Calorie Calculator

This calculator determines your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE), and Adjusted Calories based on your goals.

How to interpret your results:

BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate):

BMR is the number of calories your body needs to perform basic, essential functions at rest. These functions include breathing, circulation, cell production, and maintaining body temperature. It is calculated based on factors such as gender, age, weight, and height.

TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure):

TDEE represents the total number of calories your body needs in a day, taking into account your BMR and your level of physical activity. It is calculated by multiplying your BMR by an activity multiplier, which corresponds to your daily activity level.

Adjusted Calories (Based on Goal):

Adjusted calories refer to the recommended daily caloric intake based on your specific fitness goal, whether it’s to lose weight, maintain weight, or gain weight.

For weight loss, 500 calories are typically deducted from TDEE, and for weight gain, 500 calories are added to TDEE. For maintaining weight, TDEE is maintained without adjustments.
